เมื่อวันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม 2561 นายเชิดเกียรติ อัตถากร เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี ได้พบหารือกับนาย Paul Tiyambe Zeleza อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัย United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษากับมหาวิทยาลัย

ภายหลังการหารือ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้พบปะกับนักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยที่จะเดินทางไปร่วมโครงการ University Scholars Leadership ที่ประเทศไทยด้วย

          On 27 July 2018, His Excellency Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand, visited the United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) and met with Mr. Paul Tiyambe Zeleza, Vice Chancellor of the University. The two sides discussed the ways in which the Embassy can work with the University in enhancing academic cooperation.
